National Museum of Scotland

Edinburgh
The National Museum of Scotland is made up of two buildings; the Museum of Scotland and the Royal Museum.

The museum of Scotland building tells you of Scotland’s lands, people and culture dating from the beginning to present day. Whereas the Royal Museum, with its magnificent glass ceiling, houses international collections ranging from nature to art, culture and science.

There are large working exhibits every day in the Museum. The Millennium Clock is just one example. This mechanical masterpiece springs to life and fills the main hall with movement and sound.
