The National Gallery of Scotland

The National Gallery of Scotland is housed within the the National Gallery of Scotland Complex; just one of Scotland’s top free visitor attractions.

It is made up of three interconnected buildings, and is located right in the heart of Edinburgh. The National Gallery of Scotland, the Royal Scottish Academy Building (RSA) and the Weston Link, which is located beneath the two buildings, connects them together with areas for shopping, restaurants and cafes.

The National Gallery of Scotland is home to a major part of Scotland’s sensational national collection of fine art. Originally, the building was meant to accommodate both the National Gallery and The Royal Scottish Academy, but is now given over entirely to the National Collection.

The Gallery is home to important works by Titian, Poussin, Claude Lorraine, Rembrandt, , Antonio Canova and Turner, as well as French Impressionists, and Scottish artists.
